Overview
The Portable Data Terminal (PDT) Product Reference Design from Mistral is an excellent example of converging multiple applications in a single PDT. It is a completely integrated and customizable PDT design, which caters to multiple applications like navigation, games, executive, e–learning, amongst others, enabling endusers to harness the true potential of mobile computing.
The PDT Product Reference Design is built around the powerful OMAP5912 processor, a DSP-plus-ARM SoC device optimized for portable data terminal applications requiring high-performance signal processing capabilities as well as high-level application support.
Highlights
The ultra-sleek device, designed for slim mechanical enclosure runs WinCE4.2 on OMAP5912 processor and supports four RF modules for GPS, GSM, WLAN and Bluetooth connectivity and comes with a full VGA resolution LCD display. The built-in 2100 mAH Li-Ion battery with charger has been optimized to provide an extended battery life of up to:
